Time Flies
I can’t believe it! Scarlett is already a month old. She still is a very good baby who knows what she wants. I feel blessed to be able to spend so much time with her. I am sad to think that I must return to work early April so I am soaking up every little moment I get with this sweet baby.
In one month Scarlett has gone through a rough birth. Has had three ultra sounds (kidneys, heart, and hips) all the tests came back normal (thank god). Had like 10 needle sticks because of her jaundice. Celebrated her first Valentine’s Day with Mommy & Daddy.
Has grown out of newborn diapers Land can wear 0-3 month size clothes due to her 2 lbs weight gain. Lost her umbilical cord & has a cute belly button.
Received a real bath and absolutely love it… so much so that once we took her out of the bath she pooped all over me. She was very relaxed.
Slept 5+ hours a without eating (huge accomplishment) she is an eater & this was her first time going over 2.5 hours between a meal. Did I mention this run of sleep was at night. These tiny mile stones are not like her walking or graduating kindergarten or college ,but in the past month these are big changes in such a little person’s life.
